Resident Evil: [D]eadly [S]ilence!
I could of got this game(and others below that I didn't defeat) since last year when it/they came out but that would mean not playing and beating the other games I did play and defeat?
Ah well its finally here!
This could be one of my last blogs for a while due to forseen circumstances.

Again its not about gameplay as such.
Is more about puzzles.
Well in Resident Evil DS here, really its figuring out where to go next.
In Killer 7, it was solving a puzzle.
In StarFox well I didn't really have the intention of beating it.
Afterall I have never played any StarFox Game before.
Not Starfox 64, not Lylat Wars nothing.
But perhaps Wii Virtual Console will sort out that?

I just wanted to see what it was all about and I did enjoy it even though its not completed!
It is left for a future pospect and certainly now I must get StarFox 64 if not virtual console then, even on N64!!!
By the way did you see those videos of me playing Killer 7?
I am on the last level [Smile] where I got stuck...

I removed them from youtube , er yesterday, because they are crap and you can't really see anything...properly.
Perhaps when I get the game next-time I will put it up again and this time it will be me getting the "big W".

I play a vast array of games/have played.
Its just that the Neeed For Speed series I need to do catch up.
I also want to go and play all those Resident Evil's on Gamecube.
Man the graphics in those games are just somthing to look at, wether pre-rendered or not.
Resident Evil 4 was the pinnacle and most of the stuff in it was actually runnig in real time.(some things still pre-rendered, like the ground and some objetcs and the environment)
But it was amsing.
Which is why I hate "graphics heads" buzzing about NEXT-GEN PS3 and Xbox360. meh.
Can't wait to get a Wii to play RE4 a different way.
Anyway, if your a real gamer you would know what Gamer's drought is?

only re1 is pre rendered the others are direct ports of dreamcast or ps1 games. imagine that gavin you could actually experience what it's like to play on a dreamcast or a ps1.
you should get a dreamcast cheap and play chu chu rocket. it's ace.
resident eviol on the wii will suck. RE5 on the next gen is going to blow everyone away. hopefully it will make you see the light but probably not becuz it might be too puzzle heavy for you and your little mind.

RE4 on Wii will not suck.
If anything it will be a better way to expirience the game.
Everyone with any sense knows its not taking FULL advantage of the Wii controls. Its only the aiming shooting with your Wii-mote and knife slashing etc...
But CAPCOM is also working on the next proper Wii game(Umbrella Crhonicles) so we all know that.
But what they did is take an excellent last-gen game added Wii controls which ARE more immersive somewhat and made a great game great with a (+). Jsut to wet Wii ownsers appetites until the next true installment comes.
So what's is wrong with that???
All RE5 is going to have is "next-gen gloss" on "Poop Station 3" and "X-Cracks 360".
So what, who cares.
I won't be getting a PS3 or Xbox360 in my life ever, so what happens on those platfroms is Microsoft's and Sony's issue/s,(and the fans who buy them) NOT MY PROBLEM.

By the way I am futher ahead in RE: DS now.
I restarted the game all over again at one point, somtime during the week but I can't remember what day it was now(could of been Monday but am not sure). I was playing it on and off as I got stuck now and again.
I should of blogged it but I just couldn't be bothered at the time.
Well I just won't know exactly how long it took me to beat it, IF I do.

If were up to me I would kick microsoft and sony BACK OUT of the gaming industry and leave Nintendo only in it-as it was years ago(it wa better).(maybe bring back Sega as a second choice)Only Sega though.

NONE OK. Graphics graphics. games have been about fun and gameplay NEVER centered or focused around graphics only!.
All less powerfull machines have always won the console race, always.
So obviously you must be a new gamer if you think its only power and graphics wins. How about innovations and packing alot of thing into a cheaper more afordable machine?
Especially since they(microsoft & sony) are so confident HD graphics is what makes a console great that they are going to copy the Wii-mote anyway...
So I guess they are not so confident the old controller(SNES copy) and HD graphics is what its all about.

I heard Sky doesn't even record programs in HD. How an you broadcast in HD when you don't even use HD cameras?

Nintnedo made the right choice. If/when HD takes over simply add HD sell the console and all new games will be in HD.

HD vs SD tv is like when everyone used to have DIAL UP internet.
Then broadband came, and only a few had it(and it was expensive!!!), while the majority of the world was still dialing up.
Until HD prices tumble to the same prices as SD tv(which is what they should be in the first damn place)
HD is nothing more than an exclusive club of yuppies who arn;t getting the bang for their buck yet. Everything has to change. People have to sart using HD cameras to film things and all that overhead for all this new HD equipment cost money!!!
So tell me then, right now if folks are not using HD cameras to film then what the hell are you people who claim to have HD TV and HD channels...what are you watching? Just SD blown up to a bigger size? bullshit.

While SD is probably like (just picking a figure out the air) 90% of the world, HD is like only %10 if that much, yet.
What Microsoft and Sony should of said is, hey our consoles are HD ready for the future of...blah blah...
But no...hey its all about the HD now.
Get it now(like they are forcing it on folks who still have SD and just are not ready to shell out monies like £2000 just so they can get the most out of console gaming graphics)

When in history has anyone had to change their TV to see the new graphics delights of a games console. When?

We can send men to the moon but you cant make a machine to display graphics that works on old tv as well as new.
And don't say it looks great on a normal SD tv(ps3/Xbox360). You have to get an HDTV if you want the most from an Xbox360 or PS3. Wii you can play it on any TV it works and looks better than on HDTV in fact.
So trying to tell me about other consoles besides Nintendo Wii/DS. WASTE OF TIME, DONT BOTHER.

Third Party when talking about games means another company develops games for the one in question...
For instance Nintendo makes games. They publish games.
If EA made a game for a Nintendo console...such as the Wii or DS then they are called a third party.

In Starfox I reached: AQUAS BENEATH THE WAVES...
you got to level five of about 50... poor show. not a fan of star fox or advance wars then? doubt you'll make it through resi:DS without a game FAQ.
